
When life is already hard enough, don’t make it worse by being hard on yourselves. Be gentle with yourself and give permission to yourself to be the best you can manage rather than doing the best that’s humanly possible. Never try to be the someone’s version of best. Sometimes depending on where we are in life, our situations and our mental status – just getting through the day may be the best we can manage. That’s okay. What’s important is that we keep trying, again and again and learn to give ourselves as much as time we need. Give time to yourselves to heal, to embrace your fears instead of placing a patch on them to move to the next best thing. At last, the process matters more than the endgame.
