KA is one of those Telugu movies that piques your interest right from the trailer. It’s a suspense thriller with a bit of a karmic twist, set in a village in the 1970s. Kiran Abbavaram plays Abhinay Vasudev, a postman’s assistant who gets caught up in a string of mysterious disappearances in the village. This isn’t your typical mystery; the story unfolds in a unique way, with the lead discovering clues through letters, getting entangled with a masked villain, and facing a deeper philosophical message about karma.

One thing I really appreciated was Kiran Abbavaram’s performance. You can tell he put a lot of effort into this role, especially in the intense interval scenes. While some characters felt a bit underdeveloped, Tanvi Ram, who plays a teacher trapped by the masked villain, adds a memorable presence. And the cinematography? It’s pretty spot-on, particularly in the night sequences, which have this eerie, suspenseful vibe. Sam CS’s background score is another highlight—it really keeps you on edge in those tense moments

The movie has a lot going for it technically, but it’s not without its flaws. The romantic subplot felt a bit forced and didn’t quite fit with the suspenseful tone. Plus, some parts of the story unfold in a pretty predictable way. But the non-linear storytelling keeps the mystery alive, and the twist at the interval hooks you back in just when you start wondering where it’s going.

All in all, KA isn’t perfect, but it’s a solid watch if you’re into thrillers that make you think a bit about fate and consequences. It’s got enough twists and strong visuals to make it interesting, even if it falls short of being a classic.
