Life has a way of nudging us toward the edge—sometimes gently, sometimes with a shove. The edge of comfort. The edge of certainty. The edge of everything we thought we could control. And occasionally, the universe doesn’t wait for you to decide whether to jump. It pushes you. In that moment, as you tumble into the unknown, it feels like chaos. But what if that fall isn’t the end? What if it’s the beginning of something extraordinary?
When we’re pushed over the edge, it strips us of pretenses. Gone are the routines, the safety nets, and the walls we’ve built to shield ourselves from failure. Falling forces you to confront your fears head-on. But here’s the beauty: it’s only in the freefall that we begin to understand our true potential. The winds of change, while terrifying, often carry whispers of a truth we’ve been too afraid to face: that we are capable of so much more.
Falling teaches you to adapt. At first, you flail, reaching for anything to stop the descent. But slowly, you begin to notice something remarkable: you aren’t powerless. You have wings—ones you never noticed before. They might feel fragile at first, unfamiliar, like a muscle you’ve never used. But as you begin to trust them, you realize they’re stronger than you ever imagined. And then, one day, you stop falling. You start soaring.
The most surprising part about finding your wings is realizing they were there all along. You didn’t need to be “ready” to use them. You didn’t need someone else to build them for you. All you needed was the push, the leap, the moment that forced you to see yourself for who you truly are: someone capable of saving themselves.
It’s easy to resent the fall, to wish for the safety of the cliff. But when you look back, you’ll realize it was the push that set you free. It was the fall that taught you to rise. So, when life brings you to the edge again—and it will—don’t be afraid. You’ve already proven that you can fly. And this time, you might even leap willingly, knowing the strength that lies within you.
