Okay, so XO, Kitty Season 3 is finally here… and of course I watched it.
I mean, after watching two seasons, you can’t really skip the third one right?
Also, my Instagram was already flooded with reels anyway so no escaping it.
And I’ll be fair… not everything was bad. There were moments I genuinely enjoyed like Kitty and Yuri’s friendship.
But overall? The whole season and especially the hype around it felt a bit overrated.
And I keep wondering… is there anyone else who feels the same way?
Or was I just not in the right mood while watching it? Because at some point, it started feeling a little too much.
Are teenagers actually this messy and chaotic in relationships now?
Or is this just how writers imagine teenage love to be?
Also, one thing that really stood out to me is that Kitty has literally moved to Seoul to connect with her roots, understand her mother better…but she barely even tries to learn the language? That part just felt so off to me.
There were multiple moments where things felt clumsy… even a little cringe.
But then again, maybe that’s just me watching a teenage show as an adult now.
The romance is cute in parts but again why does everyone in the show have to be in a relationship?
Love triangles? Of course. Mandatory. It just felt… forced at times.
Even Kitty as a character crossed into annoying territory in a few places.
And the breakup with Minho? That honestly felt very forced. Like it had to happen just to create conflict and then possibly fix it later. Because that’s how these shows usually go.
Especially when the understanding between characters had already been shown it didn’t feel natural. Also, I don’t know if it’s just me, but the leads had way more chemistry in Season 1 than in this season.
Maybe I’ve changed as a viewer. Maybe what felt exciting earlier now feels repetitive. Or maybe the show really did lose a
